Job Summary
Set the dining room to company standards for all meals and functions, ensuring it remains clean and safe. Greet residents and guests with a smile, seating each person appropriately. Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner. Verify accurate order fulfillment and check food quality and presentation. Respond quickly to requests, interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, and assist with table setting, dish removal, waste disposal, and inventory restocking. Remove walkers from the dining room for resident safety and return them immediately after meals. Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards. Work full-time shifts including weekends and holidays, with a background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be or become within 60 days an accredited food handler per State guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues
- Ability to speak, read & write English
- Must be willing to undergo a routine background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred
