Job Summary
Provide warm, attentive, and high-standard food and beverage service in an upscale dining environment. Maintain extensive knowledge of menu, beverages, dietary restrictions, and pairings to answer guest questions. Execute opening and closing procedures for the assigned station, communicate effectively with the team, assist in ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience, handle disputes with professionalism, participate in wine, beer, and cocktail service, and engage in ongoing training to develop hospitality expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of server experience in an upscale or fine-dining high volume establishment
- Will be required to complete and pass quizzes on product/job knowledge
- Knowledge and passion for wine, beer, and craft cocktails
- Understanding of classic food, wine service, pairings, and service ware
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills
- Team oriented with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability
- Positive attitude, a sense of responsibility and ownership of the position
- Desire to learn and grow within the position and restaurant
- Appetite for creating memorable moments of hospitality for our guests
- Knowledge and passion for wine, beer, and craft cocktails
