Job Summary
Prepare food items and serve food to Residents within scheduled time frame in a restaurant-style dining environment. Follow menu cycle, note changes or substitutions, and maintain cleanliness of food service areas including kitchen and dining room. Ensure Resident food needs and preferences are known; account for staff, Resident, and guest meals daily; maintain meal service records as required. Observe problems or changes and communicate them appropriately; adhere to all work, safety, and administrative rules and procedures. A strong commitment to quality care for seniors and teamwork with the dining services team is essential.
Required Qualifications
- A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
- This job requires a high school diploma
- At least 1 year of experience
- A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
