Job Summary
Execute tableside service in a high-volume, full-service environment, building rapport with guests while driving sales and delivering an exceptional hospitality experience. Stand and walk up to 10 hours daily, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, while performing basic mathematical calculations and working calmly under pressure. Serve and ring alcoholic beverages after obtaining responsible alcohol service certification, working flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Maintain high energy and stamina to support our scratch kitchen's curated American cuisine menu, contributing to a culture that values team members and offers competitive pay and progressive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- at least a year's experience at executing under pressure in a high-volume, full-service environment
- expert at building rapport with guests, driving sales and providing an exceptional hospitality experience
- to be able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
- to be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- to be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- to be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
- to be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages
- to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays
- to be certified in (or able to be certified in) responsible alcohol service (as required by state or local law)
- high energy and stamina
- the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- a high school diploma (or equivalent)
Desired Qualifications
- at least 6 months' experience in a high-volume, upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment
- Previous server experience
