Job Summary
Greet residents and guests, present menus, and inform them of daily specials or changes. Take food and beverage orders using order pads or the handheld Point of sale (POS) system, entering special requirements like dietary restrictions. Serve food and beverages according to the course of order, replenish utensils, and remove courses while observing guest satisfaction. Coordinate with bus persons and kitchen staff, assist with stocking, and help with telephones and financial transactions for take-out. Perform basic cleaning tasks, punch orders on the POS terminal, and close the shift. Maintain proper grooming standards and adhere to appearance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available on weekends
- Excellent oral communication skills required
- Positive interpersonal skills required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous serving experience preferred
