Job Summary
Maintain system health for healthcare organizations by keeping Epic's hosting infrastructure in optimal condition. Troubleshoot and debug code, develop tools to support operating systems, and create disaster and contingency plans. Collaborate with developers, technical support, and implementation specialists while coordinating with third-party hardware vendors. Escalate security incidents and ensure strict adherence to confidentiality, integrity, and availability policies. Work across shifts in Madison, Wisconsin, with occasional travel and no visa sponsorship required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, MIS, or other hard science preferred
- A history of academic and professional success
- Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
- COVID-19 vaccination
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps processes is a plus, but not necessary
