Job Summary
Steward at Urban Chestnut Beer Company (UCBC) responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences through hospitality and teamwork, with a focus on beer education and pairing recommendations. Requires strong guest communication, knowledge of beer styles and brewing processes, adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, accurate order taking and delivery, cash handling, and ability to assist with events. Role supports both Part Time and Full Time shifts; minimum qualifications include Hepatitis A vaccination, at least 2 years of restaurant serving experience, and being at least 21 years old. Must maintain knowledge of UCBC history, products, events, and sustainability efforts; uphold cleanliness and proper waste handling; and serve as an ambassador for the company.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience serving in the restaurant industry
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Hepatitis A vaccination record
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Above average knowledge of beer styles and the brewing process
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to work in a food/drink service environment
- Compliance with CDC and local health department guidelines
- Ability to take food and drink orders accurately and deliver to tables
- Cash handling techniques
- Willingness to assist with internal and external festivals and events
