Server/set up

Banquet Server/Set up for events at Jekyll Island Convention Center. Responsibilities include assisting with collecting banquet equipment (flatware, china, glassware, serving pieces), preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, breads, setting tables with place settings, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes. Also responsible for cleaning, returning serving pieces to storage, and handling cash functions as needed. Must be 18+ with strong customer service, communication, adaptability to changes, and ability to work flexible hours. Physical duties include lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and repetitive motions; and maintaining professional client relationships during events. Reports to F&B Manager and/or Assistant Banquet Manager at Jekyll Island Convention Center.
