Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests, promptly attend to tables, and receive orders processed in the POS system. Prepare meal accompaniments, open bottled wine, and assist with setup, breakdown, and bussing stations. Maintain clean, dry, and safe areas while supporting the team and handling various sidework tasks. Relay guest complaints to management and ensure all company trainings and meetings are attended. Maintain constant communication with support staff and management. Possess strong communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant POS system
- Must be able to calculate the accurate bill amount and use proper credit card and money handling skills
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role
- Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications (if applicable)
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences
- Highly motivated and flexible with the ability to take initiative
