Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and clearing them. Verify patron identification for alcohol compliance and operate the cash register. Provide warm, friendly, and professional service to guests in the restaurant and lounge. Clear and reset tables as needed, maintain stocked and tidy side stands, and familiarize yourself with the P.O.S. system. Perform opening and closing procedures, closing checks, and end-of-shift paperwork according to station rotation. Ensure compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and maintain certifications for food safety and alcohol awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
