Job Summary
Take orders, serve food and beverage, and process transactions while maintaining impeccable dining room cleanliness and ambiance. Recommend menu offerings and daily specials to guide guest choices, communicating orders to the bar and kitchen with full knowledge of ingredients, techniques, and allergens. Handle cash registers at shift start and close, ensuring adherence to loss prevention standards and alcohol beverage control policies. Complete assigned side work in compliance with 80/20/30 rules and report to scheduled shifts on time. This role requires 2+ years of fine dining experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Base pay is $17/hour with a tip credit, plus access to medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and a free family meal.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years Server experience in a fine dining, high volume setting
- Personable demeanor, instinctive nature, and ability to deliver world-class hospitality
- Ability to think quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong aptitude for clear and compelling communication, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrate ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks, ensuring prompt service to guests while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to guest needs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis)
- Ability to stand for prolong periods of time
