Job Summary
Welcome guests, take orders accurately, and relay them clearly to the kitchen. Deliver food and beverages promptly while using upselling skills to recommend specials and combos. Ask guiding questions to help guests make selections and offer confident menu recommendations based on preferences. Invite guests to join the Denny's Rewards Program to explain benefits like exclusive offers and birthday treats. Maintain a clean dining room and process payments efficiently for cash, card, and digital transactions. Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH team members to ensure smooth service. Requires experience in customer service, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must be 18+
