Job Summary
Set up the Room Service area with silver, glass, and china, then deliver orders to rooms in a timely, friendly manner while following established service steps. Obtain guest check signatures, pick up trays from rooms or hallways, and clean the area as directed. Answer the Room Service phone when the order taker is on break. Know all items on the White Board, including food specials and menu items. Maintain high safety standards, proper uniform cleanliness, and consistent eye contact with a smile. Deliver five-star service by anticipating guest needs. Work weekends and holidays. Requires three years of fine dining experience, valid Food Handlers and Alcohol Server certifications, and ability to lift 45 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Prior related fine dining experience
- Passion for food and wine
- Desire to create an amazing dining experience for guests
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- 3 years of fine dining experience as a Food Server
- Familiar knowledge with POS operating systems
- Proficient conversational and written English
- Ability to stand and walk and moving for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 45 pounds or more
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Valid Alcohol Server Certification within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast paced, fine dining environment
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to speak Spanish
