Job Summary
Greet and seat guests using the standard Rib Crib greeting, present menus, suggestively sell items, and answer dining questions. Answer phone calls by the third ring, take orders, relay requests to the kitchen, and process payments. Prepare drinks and desserts, stock service bars, and clear tables at the conclusion of each shift. Demonstrate willingness to assist with any task to support team operations. Requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds. Minimum six months of restaurant experience and a Food Handler's Permit are required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to clearly communicate both orally and written
- Understands basic math concepts
- Proficient use of restaurant equipment including but not limited to such things as headset, microphone and Aloha or View Touch operating systems
- Minimum six months previous restaurant industry experience
- Food Handler's Permit where applicable
- Ability to perform most of the work from a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to frequently walk, push, pull, lifting, carrying, kneeling, or stooping
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to lift not to exceed 30 pounds occasionally
