Job Summary
Greet guests, describe food and beverage options, and deliver hot items from the kitchen to tables. Input orders into the POS, secure payments, and prepare coffee and specialized drinks. Clear and reset tables, escort guests to seating, and respond to dining requests while maintaining spotless cleanliness. Complete daily inventory prep sheets and other allowable side work. Ensure compliance with food safety policies, including product rotation and labeling. Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities. Work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends. Clock in and out on time for every shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
- Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed by your immediate manager
- Must clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule
- Must provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift
- Read, write, understand and communicate with others effectively using the English language
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
