Job Summary
Server role handling front-of-house responsibilities across seating, greeting guests, presenting menus, assisting with food and beverage recommendations, taking and confirming orders, processing payments, and ensuring dining area readiness. Also includes supporting busser/host duties when needed, maintaining sanitation, and communicating with team leads for issues. Requires strong communication, a positive attitude, knowledge of menu items and POS, ability to handle multiple tasks, and compliance with age/licensing requirements. Restaurant brand emphasizes Mongolian hot pot experience across a broad network.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to always remain positive: always smile, speak calmly, respectfully, softly, well mannered.
- Must be excellent in communication; with both guests and co-workers.
- Include all requirements under Busser, Food runner, and Host.
- Knowledgeable with restaurant layout and rules (i.e. table #, max. guest per table, settings etc.).
- Must be knowledgeable with all menu items, drink items, and all available items (i.e. quantity of items, contents of combos, food/drink ingredients, food allergies, gluten free items etc.).
- Able to prioritize needs and tasks of all tables or customers depending on urgency, special accommodation, kitchen’s flow of work, and/or unique circumstances.
- Must be familiar with POS input layouts and credit card machines.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must have relevant certificates and license required by the city and state government
