Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, serve items, and prepare itemized checks while operating the cash register. Escort guests to tables, set up and clear surfaces, and verify patron identification for alcohol purchases. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional service standard throughout shifts. Clear and reset tables as needed, ensure stations remain stocked and tidy, and perform opening and closing procedures per station rotation. Master the restaurant layout, menu specials, and P.O.S. system operations. Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and complete required certifications including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers. Work in a high-pressure environment at The Crossroads of the Jersey Shore with access to nearby attractions.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
