Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables, setting up, and clearing them. Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, ensuring identification checks for alcohol compliance. Clear and reset tables as needed, operate the P.O.S. system, and perform cashiering functions for closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork. Maintain stocked, tidy tables and side stands, and execute opening and closing procedures per station rotation assignments. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and all certification requirements, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
