Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and setting up or clearing them. Operate the cash register and P.O.S. system, carry out cashiering functions for closing checks, and perform opening and closing procedures according to station rotation. Ensure tables and side stands remain stocked, tidy, and clean, and check patron identification to verify alcohol purchase eligibility. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and all certification requirements, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers. Service guests with a warm, friendly, and professional manner while working in a high-pressure environment at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta restaurant.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
