Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, serve food and beverages, and prepare itemized checks. Escort guests to tables, set up and clear tables, and operate the cash register while verifying patron identification for alcohol purchases. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional service style to ensure efficient guest satisfaction. Clear and reset tables as needed, ensure side stands remain stocked and tidy, and operate the P.O.S. system. Perform opening and closing procedures, including cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork, according to station rotation assignments. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and maintain required certifications such as Food Handlers and Alcohol Awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
