Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and setting up or clearing them. Clear and reset tables as needed, ensure side stands remain stocked and tidy, and operate the P.O.S. system for cashiering functions and closing paperwork. Perform opening and closing procedures according to station rotation assignments and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and certification requirements for alcohol awareness and food safety. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional service style to guests in this role at The Landing Resort & Spa in South Lake Tahoe.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
