Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and clearing surfaces. Operate the cash register and POS system, ensuring accurate cashiering functions for closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork. Maintain stocked, tidy tables and side stands, adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality standards for safe and efficient operations. Perform opening and closing procedures according to station rotation assignments and verify patron identification for alcohol compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
