Job Summary
Greet guests, present menus, and take accurate food and beverage orders while communicating effectively with kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and drinks promptly, clear and reset tables between seatings, and handle guest requests courteously. Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items to make recommendations and ensure smooth collaboration with colleagues during busy periods. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. This role offers varied shifts across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and wine-bar service with hourly pay plus tips and free meals.
Required Qualifications
- Availability for shifts that may include early mornings, weekends, evenings, and longer meal-service periods (Rendezvous serves breakfast through dinner, with extended hours mid-week and weekends)
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, carry trays, and move between tables efficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Previous serving or customer-service experience preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to make guests feel welcome and valued
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
