Job Summary
Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu items, specials, and beverages while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current choices, specialties, and kitchen shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared timely and accurately, then deliver items, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, and replenish utensils and glasses. Maintain flawless dining experiences by managing food and beverage choices and adapting to menu deviations or shortages. This role requires standing for most of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and accommodating varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- previous serving experience
- ability to think on your feet
- work calmly under pressure
- contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic
- passion for customer service
- Food Handler's permit
- Liquor Permit
- ability to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to be on your feet a lot
- ability to carry/lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to walk
- ability to bend/twist
- ability to climb stairs
Desired Qualifications
- previous serving experience, preferably in an upscale dining environment
