Job Summary
Actively take orders, conduct full food and beverage service, and monitor guests' dining experience while anticipating and accommodating their needs. Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions for all items, ensuring accurate order entry into the POS system and proper payment procedures. Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue, including setting tables, wiping surfaces, and stocking side-stations. Accurately complete end-of-shift financial procedures and report all breakage or damage immediately to management. Schedule includes extended hours, irregular shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires a minimum of two years of server or food and beverage experience, with fine dining preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years server experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience
- Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails
- Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world
- Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
- Must be able to print legibly
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be effective as part of a team
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Must be able to work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work
- Must maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
