Job Summary
Green guests warmly, present menus, answer questions, and make food or beverage recommendations. Take and relay guest orders accurately via the POS system to the kitchen or bar. Deliver food and beverages promptly, check in regularly to anticipate needs, and clear tables to reset dining areas efficiently. Assist with basic prep tasks like coffee brewing and soup ladling, process payments including cash and credit cards, and maintain cleanliness of service areas. Respond to guest complaints promptly and professionally while supporting teammates. Adhere to all health and safety standards and brand policies. This role requires SafeServ Certification and TIPS training, with a preference for previous food service experience.
Required Qualifications
- SafeServ Certification
- TIPS or equivalent training
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and work on your feet for extended periods
- Proficient with POS systems and cash handling best practices
- Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality's standards
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous food service or banquet experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Friendly, confident, and polished presence in guest interactions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Quick thinking and effective problem solving under pressure
