Job Summary
Take orders from guests for food and beverages, check identification for alcohol service, and enter orders into handheld computers for kitchen transmittal. Run food and drinks from kitchen, pastry, and bar areas to guest tables, bus tables throughout the visit, and collect payments. Serve specialty dishes at tables, explain menu items and ingredients, recommend wine pairings, and pour wine with appropriate glasses. Assist the host with reservations, greet guests, and inform patrons of daily specials. Prepare tables with linens and silverware, stock service areas, fill condiment containers, and perform cleaning duties. Attend pre-shift meetings and stock coffee and tableware. Full-time and part-time roles available. Hourly rate is $4 plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience working in full or quick service dining
- Must be 18 years old
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
- Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
- Are punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
- Contribute to a positive team environment
