Job Summary
Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner while serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with licensing regulations. Ensure knowledge of menu offerings and maintain stocked, tidy floor stations. Deliver food and beverage orders of a consistently good standard within the required timeframe. Follow correct reporting procedures for issues and adhere to grooming standards, security, fire, and health and safety legislation. Work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays) as the business needs require
- Adhere to hotel grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
- Serve Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with licensing/liquor regulations for residents and non-residents
- Ensure knowledge of the menu and all products
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Food and Beverage department and/or industry
- Previous experience in cash handling
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
