Job Summary
Deliver professional food and beverage service to banquet guests by maintaining menu knowledge, ensuring items are served at proper temperatures, and presenting food neatly without spill-over. Pre-bus tables during peak periods, stock beverage stations with ice and glassware, and reset spaces for subsequent events while keeping equipment cleaned and stored. Communicate clearly with kitchen, bus, and bar staff to coordinate timely course delivery and adapt to guest needs in real time. Maintain a professional appearance and high responsiveness to customer requests throughout the event. Work during many peak periods at an hourly rate of $20.50 per the CBA, with benefits governed by the union agreement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related food service job experience
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months working in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment
