Job Summary
Server for La Hacienda Restaurant at the Mexico Pavilion (EPCOT) in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Provide table service, lead guests through the dining experience, explain all food and beverage items and any specials, greet guests, suggest menu items, upsell appropriately, and handle guest orders in the POS system. Deliver courses promptly, observe food safety procedures, follow Disney 5-Keys Basics and company guidelines, and perform opening/closing duties. Part-time seasonal role requiring teamwork and adherence to alcohol service laws and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Culturally authentic to Mexico
- Ability to communicate and explain Mexican history, customs, traditions, and culture to guests based on first-hand experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage items on the menus
- Ability to greet guests politely and lead them through the dining experience
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling (implied by duties)
- Ability to upsell menu items and provide menu suggestions
