Job Summary
Assist in the set-up, service, and cleaning of the dining room while maintaining kitchen and assigned areas in a sanitary manner. Establish constructive working relationships with coworkers and residents, and operate kitchen appliances including the dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, and ice machine. Help with food preparation, inventory, maintenance, food deliveries, and shelving stock. You must follow posted work schedules, arrive on time in appropriate attire, and adhere to food handling procedures and OSHA-MSDS safety protocols. Some kitchen experience is desirable, with basic knife skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be familiar with food handling procedures and regulations
- Must know how to operate kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker and ice machine
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

- Familiar with the OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures
- Knowledge of fire and safety procedures
- Must be able to operate office equipment
