Job Summary
Server to work in the dining room of a Cogir Senior Living retirement residence, with responsibilities including serving meals to residents and guests, setting and clearing dining tables, delivering tray service, assisting with dishwashing/cleaning, supporting kitchen and dining area cleanliness, aiding in catering and special events, and participating in training of new culinary staff. Requirements include strong customer service, ability to lift/heavy items, stand/walk for long periods, and VPS clearance; bilingual ability is an asset; role is part-time evenings (4-8PM) with 16 hours bi-weekly; opportunity to contribute to a people-focused dining experience in a senior living environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for majority of shift
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Preference given to individuals with experience in the food service industry and working with seniors
- Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS) or willingness to obtain one upon hire
