Job Summary
Deliver best-in-class food and beverage service to fans by preparing sections on schedule, entering orders accurately into the POS, and rotating coolers with proper products. Execute Cosmworthy experiences by engaging guests with a positive attitude, following all Pillars of Service, and adhering to state liquor laws and accounting policies for transactions. Maintain a safe environment by complying with safety guidelines, minimizing breakage, and supporting a one-team approach to ensure fan satisfaction from entry to exit. Work a variety of shifts including late hours, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting, while attending ongoing service trainings and fulfilling additional requests for side work or cleaning as directed by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Previous serving experience
- Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to write in basic English
- Food handlers' card
- State recognized responsible alcohol certification
- Legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local and state laws
- Ability to continuously stand, walk and lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to seldom sit, climb, push, pull, and lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, based on the need volume of the operation (late hours, holidays, weekend, etc.)
- Ability to consistently be friendly and outgoing toward fans, management, and fellow team members
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good time management skills
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of all food and beverage menus, specials, seasonal beers and drinks
- Knowledge of the Company's products, services, current promotions, and recurring events
- Willingness to follow direction of all supervisors, including additional requests for side work, cleaning, etc...
- Ability to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to follow all appropriate Cosm policies and procedures outlined in the training manuals and employee handbook
- Ability to follow all Cosm's Pillar's of Service for each fan as outlined in the training materials
- Ability to accurately and timely enter all food and beverage orders into the POS with minimal errors
- Ability to engage fans, coworkers, and managers with a positive, friendly, professional approach during all interactions
- Ability to ensure each Cosm fan is taken care of upon entering the building to leaving the building
- Ability to follow State Liquor laws and Company policies regarding the service of any alcoholic beverage and enforcement of ordinances and laws
- Willingness to attend all on-going food, bar, or service trainings, when scheduled
- Willingness to comply with, and support, all policies set forth by the Cosm employee handbook and training manuals
- Ability to keep china/glass breakage to a minimum
- Ability to rotate and stock all coolers with the proper products and amounts required
- Ability to follow Company and state safety guidelines to provide a safe working environment
