Job Summary
Maintain knowledge of the menu, bar offerings, and special items while providing quick, attentive, and professional service to banquet guests. Ensure food is served at proper temperature immediately upon availability, present items neatly without spill-over, and pre-bus tables during peak periods. Stock beverage stations with ice, juices, and glassware as needed. Communicate clearly with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve coordination and maintain a clean appearance. This part-time role requires a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, including availability for member holiday events and tailgates. The position pays $7.25 hourly and is tip eligible, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card
- Ability to acquire and maintain Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to acquire and maintain other required compliance trainings
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Must maintain availability to work during many peak periods
- A minimum of 15-20 hours/week, not including member holiday events and tailgates
