Job Summary
The Server position is responsible for greeting guests, taking beverage and food orders, serving cocktails and menu items, and ensuring a professional and friendly service experience. The role requires effective communication with guests and staff, knowledge of menu items, and compliance with legal age requirements for alcohol serving. Responsibilities include monitoring guest alcohol consumption, completing assigned side work, accurately handling sales and payments, and alerting management of any service or safety issues. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, be courteous and pleasant, and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of serving in a fast paced food and beverage venue, preferably nightclub environment
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
