Job Summary
Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service to guests by bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring accurate orders. Recommend menu items and upsell drinks while preparing food and condiments to AUS-SOME dining standards. Handle cash and credit transactions, maintain high food safety and cleanliness levels, and support all restaurant areas as needed. Work in a fast-paced environment standing for up to 8 hours, lifting up to 30 lbs, and performing frequent bending or reaching. Complete required beverage service certification within 60 days of start.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability to include distance, closeness, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date)
