Job Summary
Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service guided by guest preferences while bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring every opportunity to WOW a customer is complete. Prepare food and condiments adhering to Outback standards, recommend and upsell menu items, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately. Maintain strict commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and job safety standards throughout the shift. This role requires extensive knowledge of the food and drink menu and the ability to work in hot and cold environments while standing and walking for extended periods. As part of the largest Outback Steakhouse franchisee, you will join a team focused on delivering an AUS-SOME dining experience and supporting the growth opportunities within the restaurant.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
