Job Summary
Servers deliver food and beverages, provide menu recommendations, ensure guest satisfaction, drive sales by suggesting appetizers, desserts, and beverages to increase the average check, and collaborate with hosts and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations. They must adhere to restaurant policies and safety guidelines, handle payments/cash procedures, and maintain a strong guest-service focus. The role requires standing for extended periods, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and, where applicable, valid food safety and alcohol-serving certifications with the minimum age of 18+. Prior restaurant serving experience is preferred and opportunities for growth are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant serving experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong guest service orientation
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
- Valid food safety and alcohol serving certifications (if applicable)
- Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcohol (in applicable states)
