Job Summary
Provide efficient, friendly guest service by bussing tables, running food and drinks, and maintaining positive guest relations. Accurately record all orders, process payments, and balance sales receipts in compliance with restaurant policies. Safely transport food or beverages to tables and operate necessary tools and equipment while multitasking in a busy environment. Handle guest purchases using cash handling procedures and maintain current knowledge of the outlet menu. Work a variety of hours, days, and shifts including weekends. Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced bar and/or restaurant preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely transport food or beverages to a table
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Experience with payments processing and POS systems
- Flexibility to work various hours including weekends
- Knowledge of outlet menu and wine knowledge (preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
