Job Summary
Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner throughout the dining area and kitchen. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point of sale computer. Set up and break down tables while ensuring compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette. Maintain a safe environment for all staff, residents, and guests by following established safety standards. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments. Work full-time, including at least one weekend day each week.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be able to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines
- required to work at least ONE (1) weekend day each week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
