Job Summary
Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner while accurately taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the point-of-sale system. Set up and break down tables, ensuring compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette. Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests by following established safety standards and engaging in cooperative teamwork. Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit, possess written and verbal communication skills, and pass a criminal background check and health screening. This role is part-time at Oakmont of Huntington Beach, a premier senior living community dedicated to enhancing the experience of seniors and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be able to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
