Job Summary
Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner while accurately taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the point-of-sale system. Set up and break down tables, maintaining a safe environment by following proper serving techniques and safety standards. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments. Work full-time, including at least one weekend day weekly, while adhering to company values of authenticity, teamwork, compassion, and resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be available for at least ONE (1) weekend day each week
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must be able to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
