Job Summary
Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner while accurately taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system. Set up and break down tables, ensuring compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette. Maintain a safe environment for staff and guests by following established safety standards and encouraging teamwork across departments. Work full-time with at least one weekend day required weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be available for at least ONE (1) weekend day each week
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must be able to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
