Job Summary
Provide attentive table service to guests by maintaining proper dining etiquette, including menu descriptions, order taking, beverage service, and course delivery. Prepare rooms for clients using floor plans and maintain flow via issued work plans. Be on the floor 100% during meal service to oversee assigned tables, while communicating with staff, captains, and the kitchen regarding allergies or special needs. Identify guests consuming excessive alcohol for management intervention and ensure proper storage, cleaning, and maintenance of all catering equipment and linens. Follow opening and closing procedures, attend training, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards throughout the mansion.
Required Qualifications
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Works well within a team setting
- Possesses reliable transportation
- Must be able to speak English fluently
- Exercise excellent communication and listening skills
- Varying schedule that may include weekends, holidays and 9 hour shifts
- Ability to work in a fast past environment
- Stand and walk for long periods of times
- Able to lift a manage trays of food and glasses with weights at times exceeding 25lbs
- Occasionally lifts items up to 50lbs
- Willing to work in both indoor and outdoor settings
- Willing to work near or with machinery that can reach temperatures exceeding 165 degrees
- Follow policies on grooming, appearance and professionalism standards on a consistent basis
- Attend all training and development programs as scheduled
