Job Summary
Server responsible for greeting and serving customers to deliver an exceptional dining experience across restaurant, banquets, and event catering settings. Duties include taking and delivering orders, ensuring timely service and accurate beverage/wine/service recommendations, coordinating with the kitchen to maintain high-quality food presentation, handling guest concerns professionally, adhering to food safety and age-21 beverage protocols, maintaining a clean dining environment, processing payments, and contributing to overall guest satisfaction. Requires strong customer service, knowledge of food and beverage safety, ServSafe or equivalent certification, ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and 21+ age. Parkersburg, WV location with on-site service expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalence
- 1-2 years’ work experience working as a Restaurant Server
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food and Beverage services handling practices and food handling safety training, and possession and maintenance of current food handling permit, obtaining ServSafe Certification as directed
- Demonstrated customer service experience working with the general public
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in dealing with sensitive information
