Job Summary
This Server role focuses on greeting and serving customers to deliver a superior dining experience across restaurant, banquets, and events. Responsibilities include taking and serving meal and beverage orders, ensuring timely service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, coordinating with kitchen and management, following age-21 beverage protocols, handling payments, and addressing customer concerns with professionalism. The position requires accurate knowledge of food handling, ServSafe standards, and the ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays with a focus on hospitality and exceptional service across dining rooms, banquets, and catered events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Twenty-One (21) Years of Age
- High School Diploma or Equivalence
- 1-2 years’ work experience working as a Restaurant Server
- Customer Service or other related public service is preferred
- Previous demonstrated experience and knowledge of Legal Beverages (liquor, beer, wine, spirits) with regards to brands
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food and Beverage services handling practices and food handling safety training, and possession and maintenance of current food handling permit, obtaining ServSafe Certification as directed
- Demonstrated customer service experience working with the general public and the ability to tactfully and professionally address public concerns and complaints
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees, exercising tact and professionalism in all matters
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in dealing with sensitive information, exercising considerable discretion and good judgment
- The following physical demands are requirements and must be met in order for the successful performance of the job position: speak, hear, see, stand for long periods, walk frequently, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, carry, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
