Job Summary
Server role in a restaurant setting with responsibilities including host/ server assistant duties, taking and delivering orders, upselling drinks and desserts, POS operations, checking IDs for alcohol, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring accuracy of orders, and delivering a high level of guest experience. Requires guest-facing service, ability to stand for long shifts, 21+ age for liquor service, and familiarity with menu items and cash handling.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age (unless state law allows 18 years of age)
- Minimum 1 year serving experience preferred
- Experience in a nightlife setting is preferred
- Must have a well groomed disposition to make a favorable impression
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Must be able to stand, walk, carry food for up to at least 8 hours in fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environments
- At times, must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and converse comfortably with guests in English
- Must be able to maneuver through the restaurant and tables
- Accurate math/cash handling skills
- Compliance to any reasonable request by management
