Job Summary
Server position responsible for taking and delivering orders and providing friendly, personalized service to guests; utilizes suggestive selling techniques, guides guests through menus, answers questions, and provides item recommendations; maintains cleanliness, handles POS and cash, processes large currency transactions, opens/closes duties, assists with training, and adheres to alcohol service and safety policies to ensure guest satisfaction at Margaritaville and Landshark in Destiny USA.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience as a food & beverage server in a high-volume restaurant
- knowledge of food and beverage products served
- experience handling a POS system and cash handling
- ability to guide guests through menus and perform suggestive selling
- ability to set up and break down service areas and maintain cleanliness
- ability to train new staff within department
- compliant with alcohol service policy and safety/sanitation practices
