Job Summary
Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout the visit; take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS, follow up with the kitchen; anticipate guest needs and note preferences; maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items; prepare drinks for the dining room; handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when needed; perform opening, mid, and closing procedures, daily checklists, and side work; manage cash and receipts per cash handling policy; keep areas clean and organized per cleaning checklists; assist with patio setup and maintenance where applicable; hourly pay range shown is base pay plus tips where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training
- Experience with POS systems, especially Toast
- Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required
- Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
