Under the direction of the Dining Room Supervisor, create an enjoyable dining experience by following established order and style of service in the Main Dining Room and at special functions. Serve residents and guests, answer dining-related questions, and offer specials while completing orders through appropriate inquiries. Clear dishes, buss, and reset tables, maintaining a clean, neat appearance and dining room work areas according to department standards. Handle glassware and silverware safely, assist other staff with assigned duties and training, and participate in mandatory meetings to provide feedback on food and service improvements. Perform duties independently with minimal supervision, collaborate cooperatively within the team, and ensure all safety and sanitation rules are followed. Part-time schedule with some weekends; high school diploma and six months of customer service experience preferred.
